If you are looking for a luxury cabin experience in the foothills of the Kiamichi Mountains, look no farther. This welcoming cabin’s name says it all: “Where Else” would you want to be?
The open floor plan and vaulted ceilings makes the house spacious while the wooden interior maintains a warm cozy feel. On cool days, curl up on the leather furniture and bask in the warmth from the gas fireplace.
The floor to ceiling windows on either side of the fireplace ensures the view of the outdoors is just a glance away — no matter if you are in the dining room, kitchen or living area.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has all stainless-steel appliances. There is also an abundance of counter space, including a granite topped island in the center of the kitchen making cooking up a delicious meal a breeze.
There is plenty of room while staying in this gorgeous wooden cabin. There are four king sized bedrooms, each with an attached full bathroom. Two bedrooms and two baths are upstairs while the remaining two bedrooms and two bathrooms are downstairs. The spacious loft also sleeps four people with its two sleeper sofas.
Parking will never be a concern here. In front of the cabin is a circular drive and extra space under the pine trees for cars, boat trailers, ATVs, and anything else you might want to bring with you. The covered back deck also provides some unique amenities that you are sure to enjoy. A six to eight person hot tub on the deck provides wonderful views of the surrounding area while still being private, and a BBQ grill and nearby patio furniture provides the perfect setting for a picnic.
If roasting hotdogs over an open fire is more your style, you’ll love the fire pit. There is seating and string lights there so you can enjoy the campfire late into the evening. Don’t forget to play a round or two of horseshoe in the horse shoe pit nearby!
The cabin is across the highway from the North entrance (259a north) to Beavers Bend State Park where you can take a hike, go horseback riding or even a train ride! The Beavers Bend Depot takes guests on a train ride through the park’s game reserve. If you are lucky, you might spot some of the wildlife that calls this place home.
If the water is calling you, you can also go boating, fishing, water skiing, or canoeing. There are also river float trips in the park where you can rent canoes and kayaks for 2.5 miles of scenic views down the river! If you are looking for some fun family activities, get your hands dirty at Beavers Bend Mining Company and Dino Dig, or visit the Hochatown Rescue Center and Petting Zoo where you’ll meet a wide variety of animals! Guaranteed fun for all ages!
